Abstract

The development of a portable digital system for vital sign measurement using multi-sensor integration was designed. The design has five main vital signs namely blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rate, respiration rate and body temperature. The design uses the MPX5050GP sensor, MAX30100 sensor, and DS18B20 sensor. The MPX 5050GP sensor is used to measure blood pressure, namely systolic and diastolic pressure. The systolic and diastolic pressure measurement method uses the oscillometric method. The oscillometric method is based on oscillatory pressure pulses in a cuff as blood flow returns to normal after inflation to deflation is complete. The MAX30100 sensor is used to measure oxygen saturation and heart rate using the PPG method. The DS18B20 sensor is used to measure temperature with measurements in the axillary section. The designed module has dimensions of 85.50mm x 54.94mm with a Nextion LCD display (85.50mm x 54.94mm).
